Immigration Bonds

Immigration Court proceedings are conducted in Detained and Non-Detained courts.  If you or your loved one has been detained by ICE, you may have the right to request an immigration bond.  An immigration Judge must make the determination if the detained person is a flight risk, a danger to the community or subject to mandatory detention.

If we can prove that your loved does not fall within one of the non-bondable categories, the immigration judge should issue an immigration bond.  If the amount of the bond is paid to ICE your loved one will be released and allowed to continue their proceeding on a non-Detained basis.

In order to request an immigration bond, you will need;

  • Proof of Identity- Passport, National ID or Birth Certificate

  • An affidavit of support from a legal permanent resident or United States Citizen

  • Proof the sponsors ability to financial support you

  • Proof a fixed address where you will be living

  • Certified copies of any arrests in the United States or the world

  • And other documents that maybe specific to your case
